Diamond Quality

When selecting a diamond for your engagement ring, four key factors—known as the 4Cs—determine its overall beauty and value: color, clarity, carat, and cut.

Color

Diamonds are graded based on how colorless they appear. The less color present, the more light can pass through the stone, creating a brighter, more radiant look.

Clarity

Clarity refers to the natural characteristics within a diamond. These inclusions and blemishes are evaluated based on their size, placement, and visibility.

Carat

Carat measures a diamond's weight. While larger diamonds are more rare, carat should be considered alongside the other factors to achieve the best overall appearance.

Cut

Cut is one of the most important elements, as it determines how a diamond reflects light. A well-cut diamond will appear more brilliant, regardless of its size.
