OUR DESIGN PROCESS
Our team of design experts will be with you every part of the way, and this is how we do it.
Initial Consultation
On your initial diamond consultation, you will meet with one of our diamond team members where we will discuss ideas, expectations and budgetary preferences. We will also provide you with a comprehensive diamond education.
Diamond Showing
If we are sourcing a stone for your engagement ring this is the point in the process at which we will show our options.
Design Process and Production
At this point in the process, the design team will work with our expert bench jewelers extensively to create your perfect piece. Our team of specialists will manage the process to ensure you get the best quality product for the best possible price.
Final Showing
The final step, the final showing. After every step of the way, from brainstorming and diamond education we finally made it. This is the time when we can celebrate with you!
Frequently Asked Questions
Process Timeline
At Kelsey Leigh, we recommend starting the process 8-10 weeks before you want your finalized ring in hand. This will ensure that our team will have adequate time to complete your perfect piece with ease. If you have a tighter timeline, we will do our best to accommodate.
Payment Options
Once your diamond is selected, we will ask for a 50% deposit within 24-48 hours. This will secure your diamond and allow us to begin production on your ring. Payment is accepted in the form of a wire transfer, check or credit card. If you choose to pay with a credit card there may be additional fees. We do not offer financing at this time.
Working Remotely
Kelsey Leigh Fine Jewelry has clients all over the US and the world, our diamond team is completely equipped and experienced in working 100% remotely. It is the same process working remotely as if it were in person. The only difference between the two is the diamond showings will be done using our Gem Light Box, a revolutionary lightbox made for jewelry photography.
